FUNNY (?) TWITTER RECAP OF THE 4th ROUND OF ENGLISH PREMIERLEAGUE

This time this is more or less about two strikers. World class strikers that is. Sergio Aguero scored a hattrick for Man City vs Wigan. And there were quite a few Juventini to tweet about that. As one of them put it: every time Aguero scores for City, my heart hurts... No need for further explanation...

But, again, Kun was in Wazza's shadow. Brilliant display by Man United, Chicharito scored two, Wayne Rooney three. Supernatural? Maybe, and even the devil must've interferred... After all, it was 666th away game in which Sir Alex Ferguson has managed ManUtd. Yes, 666 is the number of the beast... And what a beast it is. Soon there will be more devils' fans that there are Roman Catholics...

Also in this blog there are an afroman, a surgeon, goalless Torres, an embarrassing formation, Stella, gold diggers, Nintendo, Carmina Burana, crack, Adebayor and much more.

Now it's time to explain (again), what this blog is all about. As I wrote the last three times: You won't find any detailed experts' analysis here. You won't find complete scoresheets either. But you'll find a good banter, juicy comments about the game, the clubs, the players, the refs, the goals... Maybe you'll find some useful info/opinion for a football chat in your favourite bar...

Namely, football is a global sport, so is English Premierleague. It is followed by a huge number of a-round-ball-loving enthusiasts, journos, players and managers themselves... I hear football is also more and more popular in the US of soccer... :)

And for all those reasons it's widely commented on Twitter. It is a very well known "fact" that tweeps possess a lot of football knowledge, common sense, cynicism, humour, love/hate relationships... And, yes, even different kinds of stupidity occur...

So, all the ingredients for the tasty soup of football opinion are there.

This is the "fourth edition". Here are some of the bits, which should shed some (different) light on the 4th round of EPL. I thank all the tweeps for contributing...

And, please, again, pardon my English... No excuses...

ARSENAL - SWANSEA 1-0 (1-0)

Sultry afternoon at Man City v WIgan, Tevez starts for 1st time this season, Dzeko on the bench - teach him to score four goals in a match..

Seems like whatever Man City does, Man Utd can do better
LordFIMM
Aguero. Let's wait and see if he settles in, eh? 6 goals in 3 games, not convinced. #eggonface

paul_tomkins
LFC also suffer after international breaks. Going to Stoke will be easier for teams when Stoke have just had EL game on Thurs.
GaryCarter_1979
I bet you're still drunk, I bet you're still drunk. Andy Carroll, I bet you're still drunk. Chant of the season so far from Stoke fans.

Steven Gerrard pictured in Stoke stand looking v happy. Either he's watching another game or he's just twigged he might get his place back

Sometimes football can be a cruel sport, Stoke Happens

SUNDERLAND - CHELSEA 1-2 (0-1)
InYourDreams15
Chelsea continue to stay in touch and it looks like AVB has finally found a place in the team for Fernado Torres, on the bench!
jwidnelll
Fernando Torres. The man with more goals in one match against Chelsea, than in 22 matches for them. Bargain.
Jordy_Shore
Sturridge scores for Chelsea. With Drogba to come back and Lukaku now at the club, I think Nando might have to get used to that bench. #CFC

WOLVERHAMPTON - TOTTENHAM 0-2 (0-0)
seriousyoungman
Is Friedel ever going to retire? Don't think he needs to, but honestly, he's ancient and colossal. The Colossus of Tottenham High Road #thfc
jonathanliew
"West Ham's our feeder club," sing the Spurs fans. "They've got your stadium," the Wolves fans reply.

Rooney plugging the goals away like a world class follicle surgeon on the scalp of a bald man.

Great goal from Rochina, he's been excellent so far. Formica looks like he knows what to do, but not how to do it.

There are pensioners who look younger than 33 year-old Shaun Derry. #QPR
DazWilliams
@nufcfans BREAKING: London braces itself as "Hurricane ToonArmy" makes it's way south. Latest reports say #QPR could be battered very hard
KushalP
After watching that game, I'd have to say that QPR are the new Arsenal: great passing, incredible chances, but no goals.
